Giordano Bruno: A Little Known Martyr
Born in 1548, Giordano Bruno was just seven years old when the famous French prophet, Nostradamus died, but like the 16th Century prophet, Bruno also made a prediction of his own. The Italian Dominican friar and philosopher was a little know figure by the time he died in 1600 as he had a tendency to roam throughout Europe and many of his alternative views were ignored, because unlike Nostradamus, Bruno spoke openly about is beliefs.
Educated in Naples, Italy, Bruno shared Nostradamus´ passion for astronomy and supported Copernican model that Earth revolved around the sun. He also held other believes that were metaphysical in nature and that the soul did not die but transmigrated, and was subsequently burned at the stake for heresy. In effect, Bruno was a martyr of freethinking.
Yet he seemed to share the same views as the seer Nostradamus, only the Frenchman was more guarded about his visions and disguised what he believed in cryptic verses. But one of the most striking similarities of both men is that they both predict the coming of the end with fire in the sky and the arrival of the antichrist.
It has been documented on numerous occasions on Nostradmauspredictions.org that the French visionary predicts a nuclear war in which Europe will be destroyed – and in what appears to be a timeline in the very near future. Bruno echoes the Frenchman´s vision with a prophecy of his own that also points to our time.
“When the time is ripe, selfishness and money reign, you will see the saints and Madonna´s everywhere, miracles and extraordinary events and wheels of fire in the sky..Satan will be present on earth and deceive many.”
Given the greed and money-driven world we live in today, few people can disagree that “the time is ripe.” And just as Nostradamus and several prophets in the Bible predict when the time of destruction comes Satan will walk the Earth and deceive many.
In Nostradamus´ antichrist suspects we established that the antichrist would emerge from three leaders who were allies, but become enemies. In the quatrain below, Nostradamus also refers to a “bearded star,” or comet, which could be the same “fire in the sky” that Giordano Bruno talks of.
Century 2 Quatrain 3
During the appearance of the bearded star,
The three great princes will be made enemies:
Struck from the sky, peace earth quaking,
Po, Tiber overflowing, serpent placed upon the shore
Bruno was tried by the roman Inquisition on behalf of the Catholic Church and was found guilty of blasphemy, immoral conduct and heresy. Ironically, the Satan he says will walk the Earth when the time is ripe is also expected to usher in a new religion, thus blasphemy, immoral conduct and heresy in our world will be the destruction of the Holy Roman Empire rather than their tactic to stop people preaching the truth about the true spirituality of the human soul.
However, it is interesting to note that Bruno was summoned to the court of Henry III in France to demonstrate his extraordinary ability of possessing a phenomenal memory and to satisfy the King that it was possible by employing scientific techniques and was nothing to do with magic or sorcery. This Bruno did.
Henry III of cause was the son of Henry II, who had employed Nostradamus as court astrologer. In a letter to King Henry II, Nostradamus wrote: “Faith lost in their perfect religion, they will begin to strike to the left, only to return to the right. Holiness, for a long time overcome, will be replaced in accordance with the earliest writings.”
It´s more than likely a coincidence, but after living in Paris, Bruno travelled and taught in several cities including, Oxford, Frankfurt and Prague. During this time he wrote a number of books about his extraordinary ability to remember details and information, but he also wrote about spiritual believes we find in the New Age Movement today.
Although Bruno was a Christian and was ordained as a Catholic priest at the age of 24, it does seem apparent that he had inner knowledge of ancient spiritual practices that in his day meant death. In our world, new-agers seek these ideas to gain liberty, but as Nostradamus suggests, it takes people too long to wake up to the corruption of the church and ruling global elite, and by the time they do it will be too late to change what seems inevitable.
