Nostradamus and the Second Coming of Christ
Regular readers of Nostradaspredictions.org will be familiar with the series of the Coming of the Antichrist articles, but we should not forget that it is foretold in the Bible that at the same time we will also witness the second coming of Christ. Again we can turn to Nostradamus and other prophets to determine what their predictions might mean in terms of modern day events.
In all the prophecies about the coming of Christ and the antichrist is associated with the end of days. The phrase doesn´t necessarily indicate the end of the world and all humanity with it, but the end of the world as we know it. Granted that will most likely only occur with a third world war.
It cannot be disputed that the elite families of the west are conspiring to take control of the planet under the unique selling point of “New World Order.” For that to happen there will be resistance from Asia, the Middle East especially although China will also be a major driving force of opposition. Many commentators think World War III is imminent, based on the Mayan Calendar that ends this year on 21 December 2012.
The Mayans however were expert astrologers and given that the winter solstice this year marks the aligning of the planets with the sun heralding the zodiac age of Aquarius, the end date of the long count calendar is more likely refer to astronomical event in the cosmos rather than apocalyptic events on Earth.
Let´s also consider two of the most stirring prophecies to hand. Edgar Cayce, the most accurate prophet of the 20th Century said Jesus would return to Earth in 1998. A telling quatrain penned by Nostradamus that could relate to the second coming of Christ also gives a similar time frame.
Century 6 Quatrain 97
In the year 1999 and seven months
From the sky will come the Great King of Terror
He will bring back the great king of the Mongols
Both before and after war reigns unrestrained.
Nostradamus gives an arrival of July 1999, whereby it could be possible the 1998 date quoted by Cayce was the date of inception. But why would Nostradamus refer to a savior figure as the “Great King of Terror.” Is it that the French see is warning the people in power, the forces of evil and protectors of the antichrist that they are about to be challenged?
The reference to the King of the Mongols has to be Genghis Kahn who overpowered countries from China to Germany and parts of the Islamic world. Although Mongolia was predominantly a country of shamanic faith, Kahn´s Empire saw no problem with embracing Christianity or Islam. Although he is criticized by western commentators as being slayer it would appear is principles was to embrace mankind and reunite humanity as a whole rather than tolerating pockets of elite families. You might say Kahn was the Great King of Terror.
In the last line of the quatrain Nostradamus refers to “unrestrained wars,” before and after – again fitting the timeline around the turn of the Millennium. The first gulf War impressed on Iraq by the United States was in the early 1990´s. They were at it again following the collapse of the twin towers which they blame on Islamist terrorists. There are two of the French seers quatrain that add weight to the antichrist theories and that mention Iraq.
Century 2 Quatrain 62
Mabus will soon die and there will come
A dreadful destruction of people and animals,
Suddenly vengeance will be revealed,
Hundred, hands, thirst and hunger when the comet will pass.
Century 6 Quatrain 33
His hand finally through the bloody ALUS,
He will be unable to protect himself by sea,
Between two rivers he will fear the military hand,
The black and angry one will make him repent of it.
It has been suggested by many commentators that Mabus is Saddam. Nostradamus wrote in code which means you can spin Mabus to Subam and the b to d to finish up with Sadam. The former Iraqi leader was also captured and hanged not long on to the current gulf conflict.
But it is the second example, C2 Q33 that really alludes to the antichrist being Saddam Hussein. The code name ALUS is the allied United States military and the two rivers of the Euphrates and Tigris upon which Baghdad sits are perhaps the two most famous of such rivers thanks to the Boney M song “On the Rivers of Babylon” – the ancient city which is said to be the born of civilization.
If ancient prophecies and modern day prophecies are due to come true in our time – the end of days – that would mean that Christ is only 13 years of age at the time of writing. That´s a little young to be believed to an extent people will follow him and acknowledge him as the second coming of Christ. Jesus was thirty when he began his missionary before being crucified three years later. Therefore 2012 cannot be the end of time on Earth, but the dawn of a new time of enlightenment – and the second Coming of Christ as predicted by numerous Prophets is here to lead us into the dawn of a new age in around 17 years time.
